REALITY BREAKING BOOK CLUB

Hi Welcome.

We will start with an introduction to my books. These are my friends. The way I have collected them is important. The way they have found me is important. The way they look is important. And the things I personally pick up from them are important.

There are some books that I need to read annually so as to find deeper or new meanings as I age and progress in life. There are some I will never read from beginning to end, but will instead pick up and flip through at random. There are some I keep just because they make me happy by existing.

This is important for you to know because I will dip in and out of some of these as we go through these book club meetings. This would probably be better described as a book dance than a book club, but who signs up for a book dance? I don’t know.

If you have never forged a relationship with a book or have never nurtured your own library, my book keeping is an incredible place to start. Largely because I love how I do things on this planet and I want you to love how you do things on this planet. Keep in mind, I said it’s a lovely place to “start”—I don’t necessarily mean “copy.” I would be flattered if you copied it, but you don’t have to. Use my method as a way of finding your own world of books.

I think it might also be important for you to know I was not an avid reader as a child. I found books later in life. I found books in a similar way I found art, because of heartbreak and loneliness and a desire for magic. So if you don’t like reading or have never been considered a reader…that’s ok, you will still probably have fun here.

SO HERE ARE MY CURRENT BEDROOM BOOKS (I have a separate book shelf in a separate room for work-related books, reference books, and cook books—which we will get to at an undetermined date).

I’ll go into detail about each book at some point, but for now we are all just sharing energy. They’re saying hi. You’re saying hi. Yes, I can see how you might think this is all a bit nutty. But I am so goddamn serious it hurts.

There are several ways I acquire books: I find them on used book instagram accounts like @theawfulatticbookshop, I have people buy them off my amazon wishlist, I borrow them and hold on to them until I must return them or find that they are actually better off in my care, I purchase them full price (I rarely do this), I find them on the street strewn about, I get them from crystal shops, or I find them for $1-$3 at the library bookstore. I also realize that men have gifted me many books. I will do a post solely on the books that the divine masculine has given to me.

Remember how I said there are some books that I read annually? The Alchemist is one of them. The Alchemist, The Little Prince, and Frankenstein. The next book I will be reading for myself/this club is in this section: the Magdalen Manuscript.

This section is really exciting because I personally know the authors of 3 of them, some of them are the ones I currently have from the library and still others are cool because they are about horses. Like I said, really exciting! But we must continue on to discuss the next book for book club: THE MAGDALEN MANUSCRIPT.

I saw this book years ago and kept it in the back of my mind. I decided to pay the full $18.95 at Alexandria II in Pasadena a few weeks ago. I will say I’m personally drawn to this book because I’m rewriting my Catholic upbringing which allows for WAY MORE feminine representation. Essentially this book is a channeled message from Mary Magdalene (I use the extra “e” version of her name) and her relationship with Yeshua, who we all know as Jesus Christ. It talks about her work with him and his mother (my homegirl the Virgin Mother). It also has meditation practices that help wake up the snake at the base of your spine and activate your Pineal gland.

I started this book while I was still reading Joe Dispenza’s “Becoming Supernatural”—the meditations that they both discuss are similar and it felt nice to witness a glitch in the matrix so openly.

My early criticism comes from section Six of the channeled message which says it was a new moon, but a sentence later it says that everything was silver from the light of the moon. A new moon cannot be seen. A new moon does not give off light. Does that invalidate everything else? Of course not. Nothing is real. But it did annoy me.

Nevertheless, we persist.

So go find this Magdalen Manuscript however you can. We’re gonna learn about Sacred Relationship and Egyptian Alchemy with this one! (Spoiler Alert: Mary Magdalene was an initiate of the Cult of Isis) There’s a new moon coming in 8 days, so you can write it down and ask for it to show up for you. Just don’t steal it. When you decide to break reality, you learn that it is just a series of repeated responses to your self. When you steal, you just create a game where you are always stealing. And that is stressful. Just don’t.

Thank you for being here. My name is Lex Lee. Happy reading.
